Clinton visits Louisville volunteers, makes Derby pick

After New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton made her pitch to the Louisville Courier-Journal's editorial board Thursday, she stopped by her Louisville campaign headquarters to meet with volunteers.

"She was at the office for 25 minutes meeting with people who were making signs for her that will be used at the Kentucky Derby," said Jamie Radice, spokeswoman for Clinton's Kentucky campaign.

Among those signs were ones that said, "I'm betting on the filly" -- a sentiment that Clinton has expressed. She has picked Eight Belles, the only filly in the 20-horse field.

Clinton also took photos with the staff and thanked them for their work, Radice said.

If Hillary's last name was Jones or Smith she would have been out of the race prior to Pennsylvania. Statistically, she has no chance to catch Obama.

Moreover, Hillary has promised Jerry Lundergan a post as US Ambassador to the Vatican and Nathan Smith the post of Ambassador to Australia for their support in the Kentucky Primary.

Well.....Nathan Smith, or after watching Kentucky Tonight a couple of weeks ago could possibly be called Nath "UMM" Smith, because apparently his vernacular is limited to those of the grunts from cavemen. Or maybe it was when the GOP Chair put him in his place. Either way, he was one half of the comedic relief and/or embarrassment provided to the KET masses by the democrat party. This clown should have been considered to become ambassador of something more self-serving; it would compliment his ego and approach to politics and been more in line with the appointment of J. Hurst to state director.

Hillary picked a loser. Just wait and see all of her money is down the drain.
Nothing against Eight Belles but its Eight too late.

Is it true that Jerry Lundergan has organized phone banks to harrass Congressman Ben Chandler's Offices?

Lundergan is trying to get even with Chandler for endorsing Obama.

Did anyone see the picture...which one is the horse?

Reality time, folks.

The Magic Number- 2,024 delegates needed

Barack Obama
Has: 1,733 Needs: 291

Hillary Clinton
Has:1,603 Needs 421

Hillary has to win every contest remaining by 80% to catch Obama, much less surpass him.

What you're seeing now is media driven entertainment pretending that the nomination is still in question. The reality is, it's over.

Wow; where did they dig up with video? Is this guy for real?
