Hillary Clinton making two stops in Ky. Saturday
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will make two stops in Kentucky Saturday, her campaign announced Thursday afternoon.
She'll hold a public rally at DuPont Manual High School in Louisville at 4:30 p.m. EST, then attend the annual Ruby Laffoon Dinner at 7:15 p.m. CST in the Madisonville North Hopkins High School.
The dinner, named for a former Kentucky governor, is a fund-raiser for the Hopkins County Democratic Party. Gov. Steve Beshear is the keynote speaker, but aides have said he will not endorse Clinton at the event.
Clinton, a U.S. Senator from New York, is battling U.S. Senator Barack Obama of Illinois for the Democratic presidential nomination.

It should be noted that Governor Ruby Laffoon was the Kentucky governor who issued the most pardons in Kentucky history.
The General Assembly would not raise funds for jails and prisons so Governor Ruby Laffoon pardoned and released over a 1,000 prisoners.
