Yarmuth donating salary
Congressman John Yarmuth vowed to keep his 2006 election pledge today by giving back his entire post-tax congressional salary back to the Louisville community.
Yarmuth's roughly $120,00 in contributions will go to 38 organizations including the NAACP, Planned Parenthood and Kentucky Humane Society.
"We have a lot of wonderful charitable organizations in Louisville that work to fulfill some of our most important needs," Yarmuth said. "I wanted to represent Louisville in Congress so that I could contribute to the community, and I feel very blessed to be in a position to pitch in a little extra personally."
Hours after his donation announcement, Yarmouth also alerted the media that he plans to file for re-election on Monday.

NAACP and Planned Parenthood. I'm glad I don't have this left-wing lunatic representing me in Congress.
Hopefully, the citizens of Louisville will wise up and get rid of this guy in November.

Silver spoon Yarmouth and this phony ploy should pack up and head to the San Fran and the Pelosi liberalism camp. He shouldn't accept our money as his pay, cause he has never done a thing, except vote against Christmas. Another one termer, this left wing nut should spend his money on an airline ticket to SF. Better call Mike Ward and discuss strategy with the one-term wonder.

I cannot believe that people would make fun of a man who gives all his salary to charity. I would bet the people on this blog that do that have never given there mother a x-mas gift much less a charity gift. I am proud of Mr Yarmuth for his art of giving and his caring efforts to others. He is a true man among men. Kelsey.

What a politician keeping his word, and following through on a campaign promise!!! I give him that at least he did keep his word on this. He better watch out Beshear don't like that kind of thing. He prefers those that are weasels like him. You know why doesn;t Beshear donate his salary, and a few of his cronies as well to the sudden budget ploy oh what emergency yeah that's right budget emergency!!!!!!!!!

Way to go Yarmuth, you should not be paid as your part of the greatest do-nothing congress we have ever seen. While your at it, get some more of your left wingers to give their money back too! Pelosi, Reed, hey, start a fund and give it out!. This story shows the real face of phony liberals. Rich millonaire who inherited from his daddy gives money back to the little man, but tells the rest of us how to live, what to drive, what bags to use at the grocery, what litebulbs to use. A 97% voting record with Pelosi and the west coast liberals DOES not represent KY!! Do use all a favor, give the money back and go away! DO NOTHING CONGRESS=GIVE MONEY BACK.

The GOP really missed its chance here to take Yarmuth out early. They should have targeted this first-termer from the start with a very strong candidate. Instead all we have is the traitor Erwin Roberts. He doesn't have a snowball's chance. The GOP has screwed up by letting Yarmulke get a foothold. The party should have recruited and gotten behind one big-name, well-financed opponent as of January 2007.

Yarmuth did a great job of removing Mrs Northrup from congress. Little Oprhan Annie was so sad that she lost. Bo hoo. Now as for you Mr Combs you need to shutup and keep off your little girls Marboro Lites. Bo hoo to you too. When Greg Stumbo gets back up there he will get you guys right. Its a shame he did not run against old Howdy Dudy, Mitch, he would have cleaned his clock.

What flavor kool-aid for you Kelsey? This is just a way for this left wing nut to reduce his tax liability, give some to charity and make like a do-gooder. Are you that light in the brain waves? By the way, in case you forgot, Dumbo lost is last election...and that was with in his own shark tank. HE LOST, get it. Yarmouth will use the Dumbo playbook and KY will send him pack'in.
