Davis draws recently indicted opponent in primary

Republican U.S. Rep. Geoff Davis, who represents Northern Kentucky in Congress, officially filed to seek a third term and also drew a primary challenge from a candidate indicted earlier this month on charges of improperly using charitable gaming money.

A grand jury charged Gerald Edward Puckett of Flemingsburg for keeping $1,065.96 of bingo proceeds that should have gone to Kentucky Charities United, Inc., according to a Jan. 9 Flemingsburg Gazette article.

Nevertheless, Puckett entered the GOP primary race against Davis.

Democrat Michael Kelley, a doctor from LaGrange, also has filed for that seat.

What about the current state senator Johnny Ray Turner from Floyd county? He has been CONVICTED of vote fraud and has the audacity to file for re-election. I would like to see a report about that on here.
